George’s of the Market has a new cocktail menu!
I was very lucky to be invited by the folks at OhhSocial to their first event of the new year.
My 1st Event of 2017
The venue is one of the 50 premium partners on OhhSocial’s app. George’s, which, if you’ve never heard of it, sits inside and overlooks Belfast’s historic and iconic St Georges Market. It’s actually been there for 15 years now but recently it had a big makeover and is looking rather stunning inside. Plus, it was now launching a brand new cocktail menu which we were there to try out.
The menu was produced in association with Ruby Blue Spirits and Team Ruby Blue including both Stuart and Barbara Hughes, founders and producers, were there amongst the crowd who were all very eager to see what they’d come up with.

On the menu there’s and few locally inspired versions of some classic cocktails like the Norn Iron Bramble, which has Shortcross gin as well as Ruby Blue liqueur, the Belfast Martini and the Armagh Sea Breeze. Others worth noting were the Ruby Cosmo and the Honey Mule, made using Jack Daniels Honeyed Whiskey.
We were also treated to bubbles & berries with #pimpmyprosecco & Ruby Blue’s real fruit liqueurs along with some very delish canapes.

OhhSocial know how to throw a launch party. The new 2017 app looks fantastic too, with over 150 buy one get one free offers. The new George’s of the Market cocktail menu is a great addition to the restaurant and well worth sampling if you’re in for a meal, or just on their own of course!
