Christmas is Coming!
It’s mid November, the Belfast Tree Lights switch on is looming along with the opening of the Continental Market at City Hall. The temperatures have plummeted to slightly below baltic and ‘I’m a Celeb’ is back on the telly. It’s the perfect time to start getting excited about Christmas!
Yesterday I was invited to YAHI Café for lunch where they were launching their Christmas Sandwich Special! As the folks in YAHI always do, they had the place suitably decorated and even Manager Brian had dug out his Christmas jumper for the occasion. Sarah and Madeleine, two extremely talented ladies from the Ulster Youth Orchestra treated us to all the best known festive carols as we ate.
This yummy taste of yuletide has baked spiced gammon, parsley & tarragon roasted turkey, homemade stuffing and a secret house cranberry sauce. all the meat is locally sourced and cooked in house too. Once again YAHI show how good they are at putting their own twist on things and coming up with a real hit.
While you’re there you can also get yourself a mince pie and one of the best coffees in town.
Grab this Santa sarnie every lunchtime from now until the big man visits us all (just all us nice ones of course!).
